Excellent experience. This company has insurance unlike most other and has the fairest T&Cs i could find in country (many other companies have some very unbalanced clauses in their T&Cs). Company was also very flexible around pick up and drop off which was highly appreciated. Car itself (Prado) was in very good condition and we had no issues, and also felt very well prepared for various roads of varying quality. 10/10, would rent again.

I don't always write reviews but I choose to make an exception with this company. I had a function yesterday and the service provider we planned to use backed out on the last minute. The clock was ticking and anyone in our place would be extremely disappointed. I would like to appreciate Ms Phiona and the entire team for coming to our rescue yesterday. Your timely response and good quality service is to kill for. You promised to deliver an excellent service and out did yourselves. For a car rental company Uganda, it is common to have car breakdowns or mechanical issues, but the team gave us well serviced vehicles. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. Outstanding service – highly recommended I would absolutely use Uganda Car Rental Services again. Every aspect of the experience was excellent. I arranged a 12-day car hire via WhatsApp just two hours before our flight landed in Entebbe, and everything was handled smoothly. On arrival, the car was waiting for us with Richard and Andrew. Richard helped us get organised, amend the hire days with minimal fuss, and ensured our luggage was secure at all times. Andrew was our driver for the full 12 days, but "driver" is a poor description for the help Andrew gave us: He helped us plan routes and itineraries, negotiated prices, acted as a translator, and explained cultural nuances we would otherwise have missed. Throughout all our interactions he was calm, patient, quietly humorous, and completely unruffled despite our often hectic schedule. Without Andrew, our trip would have been far more difficult; with his help, it became genuinely enjoyable. I came to trust him completely and we all loved his company. I would not hesitate to recommend Andrew as a driver or the company as a whole. I’d strongly suggest hiring a car with a driver rather than driving yourself, particularly if you are able to find someone like Andrew: it reduced my stress enormously. My family and I had an incredible experience with Uganda Car Rental Services for my sister's wedding in Kampala. We rented three Range Rovers, and they were absolutely magnificent. The bride, groom, and the escorts were all so impressed with the comfort of the cars, which made the day feel even more special. The chauffeurs were the real stars—their professionalism and courtesy were outstanding. They were punctual, well-dressed, and navigated the city traffic with ease. We thought that we were lucky prior to our trip, when we had the pleasure of liaising with Phionah, of Uganda Rent-A-Driver.  Phionah was incredibly helpful in addressing our needs, and responded promptly to our many queries, surprisingly even answering us on a Sunday evening to help us to plan our trip! And we were even luckier again when she assigned Herbert as our driver/guide. We could not imagine having a better guide than Herbert. He was not only a great driver, but an extremely knowledgeable guide. He had a great deal of experience relevant to the itinerary that we had planned, and also respectfully offered excellent suggestions to enhance our travel plans, and great ideas for enroute meal stops. He was extremely attentive to our needs, quite regularly anticipating our needs before we did! Herbert also has a great local knowledge and superb animal and bird tracking skills.
