4 Days Sipi Falls Trip

Sipi falls are one of the best tourist attractions in Eastern Uganda located on the foot hills of mountain Elgon , one of the most ancient volcano in Africa. Crowds of tourists flock the site to be part of the hiking adventure that takes you to all the three falls as you enjoy the landscape and nature.

Day 1: Transfer to Sipi Falls
Join your driver this morning after breakfast and head to the eastern region of Uganda. Drive through the Mabira rain-forest, peep through for the red tailed chimpanzees and some sunbirds, and proceed through the vast tea and sugar cane plantations. Proceed your drive through Jinja by the Owen falls dam to Mbale town and your final destination at the falls for evening rest.

Day 2: Hike the to the fall
Enjoy your breakfast and follow your guide through the rocky out crops all the way up the falls. This is not an easy hike; you need enough physical fitness as well. Make sure you carry some drinking water and snacks, you will surely need them.  Mind your steps while at the falls, some parts are a bit slippery. You can choose to  have a picnic lunch up there or choose to  return to your lodge for you  lunch meal. Take an afternoon or evening community walk on the slopes of Mt. Elgon which will reward you  with great views of birds, interaction with the local people and keep your mind active.
